Camp Lungta is a drive down destination by any type of vehicle and it is unlike so called camp sites where one has to hike or trek a while to reach the site. The nearest airport is Gaggal at a distance of 15 km and has couple of daily connections to Delhi. Taxis are easily available from the airport to reach Camp Lungta. The nearest Railhead is 20 km at Kangra and connected through British era narrow gauge, however, the nearest major Railhead with connections across the country is at Pathankot, just 85 km away. By road, Dharmshala is very well connected from Delhi, Chandigrah, Shimla, Kullu, Manali, Palampur, Chamba, Dalhousie, Pathankot and all other nearby cities.
